Astro Tapper Terms of Service

Welcome to Astro Tapper. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Astro Tapper mobile game and related services, developed by GerbilBeard Labs ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or playing Astro Tapper, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

1.1 Age Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to play Astro Tapper
• Players under 18 must have parental consent
• Parents are responsible for their minor children's use of the game

1.2 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

2. Game License & Restrictions

2.1 Limited License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Astro Tapper for your personal entertainment. This license does not grant you ownership of the game or its content.

2.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

• Cheating: Use hacks, bots, exploits, or unauthorized third-party software
• Reverse Engineering: Decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code
• Commercial Use: Use the game for commercial purposes without our written consent
• Interference: Disrupt game servers, other players' gameplay, or security measures
• False Information: Create fake accounts or provide misleading information
• Inappropriate Content: Share offensive, harmful, or illegal content
• Circumvention: Bypass in-app purchase systems or payment mechanisms

3. Virtual Currency & In-App Purchases

3.1 Virtual Items

• Astro Tapper may offer virtual currency, items, or upgrades for purchase
• Virtual items have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for real money
• Virtual items are licensed, not sold, and may be modified or removed at any time
• Virtual currency balances do not accrue interest and are not insured

3.2 Payment Terms

• All purchases are processed through your device's app store (Apple App Store, Google Play)
• Payments are final and non-refundable except as required by law or app store policy
• You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for purchases
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to applicable taxes

3.3 Refund Policy

• Refund requests must be made through your device's app store
• We may provide refunds at our discretion for technical issues or unauthorized purchases
• Refunded virtual items will be removed from your account

4. User-Generated Content

4.1 Content License

By creating content in Astro Tapper (usernames, messages, custom levels), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, distribute, and display such content in connection with the game.

4.2 Content Standards

All user-generated content must:

• Comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights
• Not contain offensive, hateful, or inappropriate material
• Not promote illegal activities or violate community standards

4.3 Content Moderation

• We reserve the right to remove or modify user-generated content at our discretion
• We may use automated systems and human moderators to review content
• Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination

7. Community Guidelines & Conduct

7.2 Fair Play

• Play the game as intended without exploiting bugs or glitches
• Report suspected cheating or technical issues to our support team
• No account sharing or boosting services

7.3 Enforcement

Violations may result in:

• Warning or temporary restrictions
• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent account termination
• Forfeiture of virtual items and progress

8. Updates & Modifications

9.2 Limitation of Liability

• Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim

10. Termination

• You may stop using the game and delete your account at any time
• Uninstalling the app does not automatically delete your account data
• Contact us to request complete account deletion

10.2 Termination by Us

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Termination may be immediate for serious violations
• Upon termination, you lose access to your account and virtual items
• Banned players may not create new accounts without our permission

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Arbitration

Most disputes can be resolved informally by contacting our support team. For formal disputes:

• Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court proceedings
• Arbitration will be conducted by JAMS under their Consumer Arbitration Rules
• Each party bears their own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise
• Class action lawsuits and jury trials are waived

11.3 Exceptions

The following are not subject to arbitration:

• Intellectual property disputes
• Small claims court matters (under jurisdictional limits)
• Injunctive relief for Terms violations

12. Miscellaneous

12.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between you and GerbilBeard Labs regarding Astro Tapper.

12.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

12.3 Assignment

We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. You may not assign your rights without our consent.

12.4 Updates to Terms
